Rikiki is a god and whenthe Wizard cast his spell to call the gods to come bring him fame and fortune for the hand of Ryvenna, his daughter who was the most beautiful woman in seven cities. While Rikiki did agree not to answer the Wizard at the meeting with the other gods, being a blue chipmunk, Rikiki didn't have a long memory and extremely curious, and did answer the Wizard's summons.
Rikiki didn't want Ryvenna, just nuts. This aggravated the Wizard, who sent him on a wild goose chase to find the nuts the chipmunk craved. However, Ryvenna heard the Wizard send the god to the Sea of Luck to drown, and fed the chipmunk some chestnuts. He gave her a bag that produced gold chestnuts for her for a year and a day to make her wealthy, and gave the Wizard the famously hilarious Chestnut Touch.
